Cutting down or eliminating lawn chemicals and fertilizers is a great way to help our waterways.

Many people don’t realize there are two different ways to accomplish this – organic or reduced-risk. An organic program uses only natural products and no synthetic chemicals. A reduced-risk lawn care program is not quite so strict because pesticides that meet the criteria of the Environmental Protection Agency’s reduced risk or minimum risk rating can be used.
